Happy Halloween!
We did go trick-or-treating this year... at Sifu's house. We crept upstairs to his study room and knocked on the door. When he asked who it was, we all showed up and shouted, "Trick or treat!" He thought he got out of it because he had no candy. It's a good thing we're thought ahead and brought some candy of our own for him to give us. His only response was, "Ah.. you guys are so funny" ...that and a "disappointed" shake of the head.

Scary! I just choked on my tea. It appears we are trouser triplets as Jamey and I have those same flannel bottoms too. I discovered this when the sparring class came around to my house unannouced (I let them in, they had pizza) and Jamey said "Hey, I gots those too - men's dept of the Gap?" and the answer was yes. Gotta have my plaid. So what candy did you get? We ate soooooo much candy at Yang's this week (we being me and Brennen). At the end of the week when each child had received a paper bag with some goodies we had a surplus left over, so we opened them up and the kids competed for sweets. Enlighting. Piper will do just about anything for skittles. Alex Yeo was deaf unless starburst were on offer. Ethan was not so picky, he was game for anything. Nerds were popular and runts, and Fazzio was combining the flavoured tootsie rolls to make taste sensations, like vanilla and orange together. Mr. Kiesel came in at the end and we mused about the fact that if we offered candy to the kids each session we would have the best kung fu students in the USA. But they would prolly have no teeth. hmm. Might be worth it...
