Our media teachers, Rii and Craig, came back to the Retreat Center yesterday. I'm thankful for this because we were having trouble with our video projects. Today, Rii took Pat and I aside and viewed what we had for the Taiwan DVD. She gave us many helpful suggestions and pointers. We had edited about half of our footage down to 30 minutes or so (which was still way too long), so she helped us in structuring and gave us a goal of cutting everything down to 10-15 minutes. Hopefully now that they are here, the job will be a lot easier. Sifu has given most of our time to them, seeing as how they are the priority now and will not always be able to present. We have to "take advantage" of them, says Sifu.

What we plan to have done before the end of this semester
- First magazine articles (written, edited, and submitted)
- Taiwan DVD
- YMAA CA Retreat Center promotional video

Other projects for the near future
- Second magazine articles
- Complementary video for each article

Thanksgiving is coming up. Sifu's sister and her family will be coming. Craig will also be spending the holiday with us. This should be interesting. I hope we won't have to train the next day. I fear a half digested turkey may come up while we run the mountain...
